The Gear4 D3O Copenhagen protective cover is made of D3O® Bio material. This material provides the same technical and protective properties as traditional D3O® materials, with the difference that 52% of D3O® Bio is created using renewable resources. Thanks to this, water consumption and fossil fuel consumption are reduced during production. The cover itself is 100% recyclable.

D3O® technology

D3O is a British company that develops technologies for shock  absorption and damping . The technology used in the Copenhagen case utilizes the properties of  an ultra-light elastomer  that behaves like a non-Newtonian fluid. This means that  at rest this matter is liquid, and upon mechanical impact it hardens  and behaves like a solid object, after a moment of rest it “gives up” again. The impact energy is distributed among the individual molecules, which spend it on solidification. Thanks to the use of D3O®, your device in the  Copenhagen case is  protected against falls from a height of up to 4 meters.
